Sunday, October 7th, 2012 Dennis Ralston on We Coach TENNIS

Join J.P. Weber Sunday evening for the second interview this week on the UR10S Network with Coach Dennis Ralston. Dennis appeared this past Wednesday on American Tennis with Coach Chuck Kriese. Mr. Ralston was born 1942 in Bakersfield, California.  Coach Ralston played at the University of Southern California (USC) and helped them to win the NCAA championships.

Early on Dennis was coached by Pancho Gonzales. He was ranked as high as 5 in the world. He lost in the Wimbledon1966 Men’s Singles Championship Finals to Manuel Santana. Ralston was a member of the Handsome Eight and won 27 national doubles and singles titles, including five grand-slam doubles crowns. Coach Ralston went on to coach tennis for the United States Davis Cup team and he was Head Coach of the Men’s Tennis Team at Southern Methodist University.
