We Coach TENNIS — November 18th, 2012

The guest tonight is the one and only Justin Gimelstob. We were finally able to connect with Justin and some say it was our best show yet. I was worried throughout the show if was I was going to be able to pull it off and do a good enough job to keep Justin interested and I think we did that on the show tonight.

Justin Jeremy Gimelstob was born January 26, 1977, in Livingston, New Jersey. Justin is currently a broadcast commentator for The Tennis Channel. He retired from the ATP Tour . Gimelstob grew up in New Jersey and as of 2009 resides in Santa Monica, California.

Justin was the top-ranked boy in his respective age group at the ages of 12, 14, 16, and 18. As a professional tennis player, he won the 1998 Australian Open and French Open mixed doubles titles with Venus Williams as his partner. He won a total of 10 singles titles and 15 doubles championships as a pro, and twice was a member of the U.S. Davis Cup team.

In singles matches, he defeated Andre Agassi, Petr Korda, Àlex Corretja, Patrick Rafter (when he was # 5 in the world), and Gustavo Kuerten.
